death by plastic

This short trailer about the Laysan Albatross on Midway Atoll near the Pacific Gyre is unbelievable and moving. It’s a stark reminder of the potentially global impacts of our actions, even small ones like using disposable plastics.

In the case of the Laysan Albatross, our discarded plastics,  that end up in the middle of the pacific far from continents, block their digestive systems and  starve them to death or cause them to feel constantly full, resulting in malnutrition.

This is unnecessary suffering. Consider your disposable plastic use.
